Ep 383 – Full Power Happy Hour and Claude

Full Power Happy Hour:

Live at The Zoo, Fortitude Valley, 11 September 2020

Full Power Happy Hour coalesced in Brisbane in 2018 around the songs of singer-guitarist Alex Campbell. Previously known for her work in punk bands GUNK and Bad Bangers, Campbell’s folkier material had previously only had an outlet in her occasional solo side project Alekka.

Now fleshed out to a full five-piece, Full Power Happy Hour features Campbell, guitarist Grace Pashley, bassist Caroline Townsend, tambourinist Finn Rodgers and drummer Joe Hanmer, who previously played with Campbell in Bad Bangers. In 2019 Full Power Happy Hour released “The Fun EP”, followed by their debut, self-titled album in 2021 on local record label Coolin’ By Sound.
