Pious Faults are a somewhat mysterious Brisbane act that emerged from the city’s underground scene sometime in late 2016. That same year they released a self-titled demo on Tenth Court, followed by the album “Old Thread” in 2018 and a limited-edition 7″ titled “Speck” that they put out on their own label, Aimless Wander.

Gooby Jim & The Goobs:

“Gooby Jim” is the nom de plume of singer/guitarist Jim Griffin, and his Goobs include guitarist/keyboardists Nick McGregor and Ben Mulheran, bassist Johnny Mort and drummer Samuel Sargent. They have released the EPs “Roundhouse” in 2018 and “Can’t Be Here” in 2019, followed by a compilation of demos.
