imbi the girl:

Live at Yonder Festival, Mary Valley, 30 November 2019

Imbar Amira Nassi, known by their stage name imbi the girl, is a Sydney-based musician and poet. They grew up influenced by their parents’ love of hip-hop and R’n’B artists such as Macy Gray and The Fugees, later complemented by contemporary discoveries including Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper and Lizzo.

imbi the girl has released two EPs: “for me” in 2018 and “back then” in 2019, and they’re featured on tracks by Spit Syndicate, Esoterik and Oh Boy. They are no stranger to festival stages, having performed at Groovin The Moo, Laneway, Party in the Paddock, Listen Out and Festival of the Sun.
