loulou:

Live at The Zoo, Fortitude Valley, 11 September 2020

loulou is the project of singer/guitarist Louis Whelan, joined by Caitlin Callanan on bass and Talia Bond on drums. In 2019, founding Mouldy Lovers member Whelan put down the piano accordian and picked up an electric guitar to make stripped-down, thoughtful indie pop. In 2020 the band released their debut EP “It Spills Out”.

Sacred Blue:

Live at The Foundry, Fortitude Valley, 28 February 2019

Sacred Blue are a Brisbane band who can kind of credit a dating app for bringing them together. In 2015 singer/guitarist Annie Kuzovina and drummer Vincent Smith matched on Tinder and shortly after began playing music together. Bassist Joel Bingham was later added to the mix and by 2017 they were a band. In 2018 the group released two double-track singles, “Spring” and “Winter”.
