The Stragglers:

Live at Yonder Festival, Mary Valley, 28 November 2019

The Stragglers are a country/folk trio from Hobart made up of Samara Cullen, Teresa Dixon and Hannah Morrell. They’ve been fixtures of the national festival circuit for over five years now, and have released several live recordings online.

Madboots:

Live at The Bearded Lady, West End, 18 April 2019

Previously featured all the way back in episode 94 of Live Delay in 2014, Madboots are a four-piece Brisbane hip-hop outfit beloved for their outlandish live shows and sly take on the genre. Sisters Lil Pom Pom and MadTing are the MCs of the group, accompanied by DJ Returnagain on the decks and producer Madgif, who provides unique visual accompaniment at live shows; sometimes dancing, sometimes checking his phone, and according to legend on one occasion cooking a cup of noodles onstage.

Madboots released their first mixtape, “Minang Galore”, in 2015 and the EP “2HARD” in 2018.

Recorded by James Walker & Scott Mercer
Mixed by Tyrell Shortt
Special thanks to live engineer James Walker

Both sets in this episode were mixed by an audio production student from the School of Audio Engineering Institute Brisbane as part of their course.
