Emerging out of Wollongong (aka The Coal Coast) in 2013, Solid Effort have been working up the ranks ever since with their self-branded style of music they like to call “leisure punk”. They released their debut EP ‘Ballad of Bulli’ in 2015 and are working on their first album, which is expected to drop sometime in 2017. Extensive touring, with support slots for The Courtneys, Gooch Palms and Hockey Dad (just to name a few), have helped build a solid following for these guys. This 5-piece unit are living up to their namesake, with every track dropped a true ‘solid effort’.

Hownowmer are a 3 piece hard rock band from Melbourne, and have been shredding up the scene since late 2015. Their brooding brand of building rock packs a punch, and frontman Ben Salter delivers with hard hitting vocals and sultry guitar riffs. Salter is also known from many previous works, such as Giants Of Science, The Gin Club, The Wilson Pickers, The Young Liberals and his own solo records. Jacqueline Dortmans (bass) and Harley McLeod (drums) make up parts two and three of this powerhouse unit.
