Recorded at Greenslopes Bowls Club as part of Sonic Masala Fest, Brisbane, 13th of August 2016.

Kicking off their career in Brisbane 2014, No Sister are now calling Melbourne their home for their alt-rock noise making antics. Over the past two years, they have released four singles with a sound that has been compared to legendary noise rock artists Sonic Youth, and The Velvet Underground. They released their self titled debut album on the 30th of August 2016, which was self-recorded and mixed by the band.

Recorded at Crowbar, Brisbane, 10th of June 2016.

Kicking it since 2014, Greyface make catchy alternative rock that you can nod your head to. Sounding somewhere in between The Smith Street Band and The Gaslight Anthem, their songs are hard hitting punk tracks with well crafted lyrics, shouted out with a raspy voice. Their debut album ‘Grey Hairs’ was released in November 2015 and has seen them win support slots for Australian punks BATPISS, Super Best Friends and The Bennies.

Airing details: Originally via Zed Digital, 7-8pm, Sunday 4th September 2016.
