SWAYING BUILDINGS
Recorded by Darragh Murray.
Mixed by Branko Cosisc.
Recorded at The Beetle Bar, Brisbane, September 2013.

Our feature set on episode 46 of Live Delay comes from Swaying Buildings. A four piece known as purveyors of delicious guitar pop, they’ve recorded two long players, including 2011’s highlight, ‘Bloom Beside the Freeway Moon’ which included the impressive ‘Different Now’.

This live set comes from their support slot at The Bell Divers album launch back in September 2013. It’s a goodie, so make sure you tune in!

EDWARD GUGLIELMINO
Recorded by Anthony Pink. Mixed by Matthew Redlich.
Recorded at Cori’s House, 2010.

Know around the place as Ed G, Ed has been playing music around Brisbane for most of this century. Often described with terms such as avant-garde pop, he’s a rare breed: a musician with opinions and a biting sense of good-humoured cynicism.

He’s toured around the world and is regularly welcomed in cities like New York, Berlin and Hobart. He’s played with the likes of UK Songstress Kate Nash, and he released a great record called Sunshine State in 2012.

Today’s featured set predates all this, and we’re going back to the wilds of 2010 to catch Ed playing songs live in a suburban Brisbane backyard – Cori’s backyard, specifically.
