Hat Fitz is a veteran wild-man blues aficionado with a record 18 in-a-row appearances at Byron Bay Blues fest, a testament to his ability to spellbind his audiences with his bluesy convict spirit. He performs with his partner Cara, who had toured the US and Europe on several occasions supporting the likes of the hugely popular Corinne Bailey-Rae as a singer, but she’s not just a pretty voice. Cara takes great pleasure in providing percussion to the mix and often lays down the rhythm with more traditional blues instruments like the tin whistle and washboard.
