BLUSSH:

Live at Sonic Masala Fest, Greenslopes Bowls Club, 17 August 2019

Brisbane band BLUSSH formed in late 2018 with singer/guitarist Kelly Schinkel recruiting her sister Stacey on bass and Sophia De Marco on drums. Over the next twelve months they undertook a relentless campaign of live gigs, quickly earning a reputation as one of the hardest-working and hardest-rocking bands in town. In October 2019 they released their debut EP, “Shut Up Becky!”.

Lucinda R.

Live at Black Bear Lodge, Fortitude Valley, 28 August 2019

Singer-songwriter Lucinda Johnson has been a staple around Brisbane for the better part of a decade now, until recently performing and recording under the name O’ Little Sister. She released a self-titled EP in June 2012 and a string of singles over the next few years before announcing a name change in late 2019 to Lucinda R. In early 2020 she released her first single as Lucinda R., called “TIN TIN”, an astonishing song that you’ll hear towards the end of this set.
