First off we have a set from P-UniQue. Since starting out in 2017, P-UniQue has consistently demonstrated her ability to spit incredible flows over damn enticing beats. Her tracks can feature deep and heavy beats which compel you to nod your head, while also having songs that are certified dance floor fillers. She has an impressive lyrical style which is only reinforced by the naturalness of her talents as an MC. P-Unique spits with fire and commands the stage with an enigmatic energy.

If there is one thing for sure it is that P-Unique will definitely live up to her name. With her style and energy her music proves that she will be one to remember and you should not miss out on this artist. But, don’t believe me check it out for yourself, recorded live on the 8th of March 2019 as a part of PBS’ International Women’s Day programming.

How does one even try to explain Sugar Fed Leopards. They are perhaps indefinable, but hey, for the sake of the episode let’s try.

Sugar Fed Leopards are a funk and disco sounding band musically with a vocal style of a doo-wop 60s group. The group are a six piece whirlwind of sound with a disco beat, pulsating bass, pop guitar riff and beautifully entrancing harmonies. They are comprised of Sugar Breath, Lemona Squeeze, Coco Caramelle,  Davide Dolce, Kitty Katerini and Gum Ball Gray. They released their first album in 2015 titled ‘Sweet Spots’ and followed it up with 2017’s ‘Take You Out Tonight’. Rumour has it, they may even be working on new material for this year.

There is something that is close to dangerous lurking beneath their sound, but it is that equal parts danger and fun that makes Sugar Fed Leopards so addictive.
