Luca Brasi are one of Australia’s finest live acts. They are a complete juggernaut of energy and are no holds barred on a stage. They formed in 2009 in St Helens in Tasmania named after the ruthless killer in The Godfather and have translated that energy into their hard rock sound.
They have released four albums in their time as a band from the first being 2011’s ‘Extended Family’, then in 2014 with ‘By A Thread’, 2016’s ‘If This Is All We’re Going To Be’ which reached 18 on the ARIA charts, and as recently as June of 2018 with the record ‘Stay’, which beat out 2016’s effort reaching No. 10.
They have earned their reputation as a formidable live act and they command stages around the country as well as big festival spots. This show was just after the release of their album and was a sold out show to a packed audience at The Triffid.
