Martyr Privates began holed up in an inner-Brisbane storage shed around the same time as Queensland had its worst floods in 37 years. Their name is also a tip of the hate to one of Brisbane’s oldest hospitals. Recently they’ve been getting more notice outside their small town bubble, thanks to their excellent debut LP on Bedroom Suck records. The album has been praised for its wall of noise style production and tough yet simple approach to a-tonal rock.
