Police Force
Recorded by Josh Watson.

Recorded at The Underdog, Brisbane. 15 August 2014.

With a name as hot as the beat in Queensland, Police Force combine thick tropical rhythms with blistering guitar damage. Comprising of members from Cobwebbs and Woodboot, they’ve kicked off their garage boots and flung themselves face first into a haze of glory.

The trio promise a forthcoming cassette release, but until then you can hear their first release, Outer Limits Pt. 1, on Bandcamp.

Clare Quinn, a songstress originally hailing from Gympie and now based in Brisbane, sings on the conditions of the human heart: love, life, loss and learning. Channelling Celtic and folk rhythms and combining them with an indie-folk sensibility, Clare’s music is unassuming yet filled with memorable melodies. Her songs are underpinned with a lackadaisical charm, and suited to quiet hours with warm company.
